Level I: Eating Disorders Professionals in Richmond, VA


Dates: May 3-5, 2019 (Friday-Sunday)
Location: Richmond, VA, Veritas Collaborative, 6627 West Broad Street, Suite 400

Tuition: $600. Deposit of $150.00 is required to reserve space in the course. Full payment due by March 22, 2019. Refund of full tuition minus $100 available until March 22, 2019.  Refund of 50% minus $100 available until April 20, 2019.  No refund after April 20, 2019.

This Beginning/Intermediate level course is appropriate for therapists, dietitians, psychiatrists, medical professionals, and treatment center staff who work with clients with eating disorders in any capacity.

Course size is limited to 20 participants

  • Friday: 9am-5:30pm

  • Foundational Principles of Embodied Recovery Model

  • Basic skills for observing and incorporating the Body into ED treatment

  • Defining and exploring “Embodiment”

  • Saturday: 9am-5:30pm

  • The impact of Sensory Processing Disorder on ED and ED treatment

  • The Somatic organization of Attachment-The Relational Cycle

  • The Somatic organization of Defense

  • Sunday: 9am-4pm

  • ED through the lens of Action Cycle and Barriers to Action

Satisfactory Completion
Participants must have paid tuition fee, signed in, attended the entire seminar, completed an evaluation, and signed out in order to receive a certificate. Failure to sign in or out will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available.
