Covid Policy and Protocol
In-Person Trainings
REVISED 3/14/2023
Embodied Recovery Institute (ERI) policy for holding in-person trainings is as follows:
- All attendees must be fully vaccinated-including booster shots*. This includes all faculty, assistants and students. At the beginning of the training, all attendees will sign a form confirming that they have been fully vaccinated, have not tested for or been exposed to someone else who tested positive for Covid within the last two weeks and are not currently experiencing any symptoms. *NOTE: If vaccination or boosters are medically contraindicated, please contact the Embodied Recovery Institute to discuss options. Proof of a negative PCR within 3 days of the first day of the training and a negative rapid test the morning of the first day of training may be required.
- Bring a mask with you to the training. Masking during lectures is optional. We do encourage participants to continue to mask if they feel the need or desire. NOTE: During experiential activities, if your partner is wearing a mask, you will be required to wear one as well for the duration of the partnered activity.
- While we cannot mandate behaviors outside of the training venue, we do ask that during the two weeks prior to the training that you use extra caution while in public, masking during travel (in airports and on planes) to reduce the risk of transmitting illness to others.
In the event that maintaining the safety of public health requires that ERI cancels or re-schedule an in-person training, ERI will notify registrants asap. ERI will either refund tuition payments or apply payments made to a future training.
ERI recommends that registrants purchase travel insurance. ERI is not responsible for non-refundable travel or accommodation expenses paid by registrants due to cancellation of training.
Cancellation policy
Training Postponement/cancellation due to low enrollment.
In the event the minimum enrollment threshold for a course is not exceeded by 30-days before the course start date, ERI reserves the right to postpone or cancel the course.
All officially enrolled participants will be notified via email and will be given the option to transfer registration to a new date or receive a refund (excluding credit card processing fees).
Training Postponement/cancellation due to weather, public health mandates, other “Acts of God”.
ERI makes every effort to deliver trainings as scheduled but in the event that a training must be cancelled or rescheduled, in part or in its entirety, due to situations beyond the control of ERI, including but not limited to: public health mandates, inclement weather, illness of trainer or travel issues, ERI will not be responsible for any travel expenses incurred by students. ERI will try to notify students as least 24 hours in advance of the cancellation if possible. It is recommended that students obtain travel insurance or refundable/transferable tickets if traveling.
All officially enrolled participants will be given the option to transfer registration to a new date or receive a refund (excluding credit card processing fees).
